I’m Xiao Lyu, a visual artist based in New York City. Growing up at the intersection of East Asian and North American cultures has been a privilege, and I feel that this diversity is an essential part of who I am and what I create. I love exploring new projects and letting curiosity guide me, bringing life to works that bridge and enrich different artistic disciplines in unexpected ways.

I find joy in the interplay of various art forms: illustration, graphic design, concept art, gaming art, and photography. Each discipline allows me to express my open and inclusive vision, aiming to awaken curiosity and speak directly to the heart of those who view my work. I believe that visual art should be open and diverse, capable of creating deep connections with its audience and evoking genuine emotions.
